Notes on learning in public

I’m developing my Python, SQL, JavaScript, and CSS through practical work and personal projects. I’m not an expert in any of them, and I’d rather be honest about that than pretend otherwise.

Writing about it while I’m in the middle of it is a deliberate choice. Explaining something — even badly — forces me to understand it more clearly than just reading does. It also leaves a trail I can look back on to see how my thinking changed.

The risk is obvious: some of what I write now will look naïve later. I think that’s fine. A learning note is a snapshot of where I was, not a claim to authority. If anything, the rough notes are the useful ones.

So expect some of the writing here to be tentative. That’s the point. I’m learning in public, and the notes are part of the work.
